The full moon is out,
And is starting to glow,
I am out and about,
In the midnight snow,
It is quiet and calm,
The snow falling slow,
It lands in my palm,
Then melts in the moonlight glow.
I see my breath appear,
And turn to see a rabbit,
Quietly hopping near,
The pond nearby is all iced over,
The deer look at me curiously,
And go back to digging for grass and clover.
The full moon is out,
And is ending its glow,
I am out and about,
In the midnight snow,
It is quiet and calm,
The snow falling slow,
It lands in my palm,
And melts in the moonlight glow.
